It's amazing how a work can look better with a good frame and some lovely wallpaper behind it. I can see why you thought the colours would go well together. I look forward to seeing the whole room when all the decorating is finished.
How lovely of her to send you the photo. Now if that doesn't make you feel like areal artist, I don't know what will. It really does look stunning.
