ReplyDeleteI like the tattoo arms, I don't think there would be a problem wearing them out, especially the more sedate ones. Of course they might cut off your circulation, but that is a whole other problem and of course you MUST be prepared to suffer for your art! Ha ha, I am now going to start looking out for whacky arm stuff for you. Maybe I could quilt you some winter ones!
Now this may be an idea you have already come up with, but what about getting some of those cheap chiffon scarves. They usually have rolled edges, so at least one end will already be nicely sewn. You could use clear nylon thread to sew them together, and you could have them as loose or as tight as you want, depending on how you sew them and in a selection of colours.
