Then follows pics of armies too big on, then made smaller, the linen shirt made smaller with some complicated darts. Lastly a couple of shirts made smaller simply by taking in sides 3" each doen to bust or waist then leaving flare out of original size at hip level.

The before and after photos of both you and the clothes, fantastic achievements all round!
ReplyDeleteDid you do tailoring at school or is this all just intuitive? I am amazed at the amount of reworking you are doing to these items. I stop at the taking it in at the sides (ok, these days more like letting it out!).
By the way, the thing that really interested me, was getting a glimpse of your sewing nook, more photos of that please!
